‘Fear the North’ is now ‘Upper North Zone’

After what was a successful initial season for the ‘Fear the North’ program, OMAHA, in conjunction with BC Hockey have agreed to pilot the concept across the region with the intention to expand across the province for the 2026-2027 season, and have expanded the program to include not only U15, but also the U13 and U18 age groups this season.

The program will include players from Salmon Arm, North Okanagan, Sicamous, and Revelstoke.

Please CLICK HERE to apply as a Head Coach or Assistant Coach for any of the U13, U15, or U18 teams. Applicants may specify the level they wish to coach, or can be considered for all levels depending on where their player ends up after tryouts. Because we will be accepting parent coaches into the program this season, it will be that in some cases a Head Coach is not named to a team until after their player has been appropriately placed in the program. We encourage all Parent and Non-Parent Coaches interested in a role with the program to apply, and we will pass along all relevant information regarding the selection process to those coaches who apply.
